BRS Pros installed a Baseboard dewatering system in for Chris. Baseboard – Installed our warranted Baseboard dewatering system along part of the left front wall of the basement. The floor where the system was installed was ground to clean concrete, cleaned of oils, sealers, etc. The PVC baseboard system was epoxied to the floor. The baseboard system will drain into a sump pump. Vapor Barrier – Installed our 15-mil white 100% woven reinforced wall liner above the installed Baseboard system. The wall liner was mechanically fastened with nails. Protects against moisture, mold, mildew, humidity and wall leaks. Moisture/water behind this anti-bacterial wall liner drains into the Baseboard system. Mechanically fastening wall liner is a permanent solution opposed to just caulk or tape which will result in future maintenance or failure of the system. Sump Pump – Installed our GrateSump basin with a removeable (flush with floor) lid covered with stone in left front corner of basement (as looking at the front door). The system includes 1/3 HP cast iron primary pump with dual float cage that protects debris from float. Included is a deluxe controller that monitors the pump and power conditions and will sound an alarm if problems are detected or a high water warning in the sump. Additionally, it activates the pump weekly to exercise and extend the pumps life. It was a pleasure to help Chris make his home happy, healthy & safe!
